Why do dogs eat poop? Nature's law

When scolding someone, we often say things like, "Why are you making noise like a dog?" or "Even if you bathe a dog and seat it in the middle of your home, it will still go out to scavenge—it will inevitably gravitate toward filth."

As far as my understanding goes, God (or Nature) has foreseen this all along.

My view is that dogs consume feces in accordance with a natural law: since the majority of humans do not offer food directly to a dog, Nature has ordained that the dog subsist instead on their food waste—specifically, their excrement.
